Lecture presented by Prof. Maged Saad entitled (Herbal medicine between facts and fantasies)

Under the auspices of the college dean, Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed AlKherfy, the Sheikh Abdullah bin Zaid bin Ghoneim Research for prophetic medicine, developing and manufacturing natural products chair have organized a lecture entitled:(Herbal medicine between facts and fantasies), which was presented by Prof. Majid Saad professor of the chair, on Tuesday, 12/11/2013, where he discussed the medicine herbal heritage legacies which was characterized by some nations, and folk medicine depends on the local environment to supply the necessary materials for the treatment. Such information has been accumulated at different nations during the long decades even count these legacies which cared for by a group of people and passed down through the generations. Since this category was often linked to religious beliefs only mixed folk medicine Information much of the myths that are not true. However, it was on modern science to find sufficient evidence of the effectiveness of these herbs. God has characterized the nation Muhammad the Prophet what was later known as Prophetic Medicine, which does not need to prove the effectiveness of that peace be upon him not only a passion but needs to maximize the benefits of it and put it in innovative images easy to use.

Last but not least the lecture was in the framework of the unity of development activities and quality of the faculty, headed by the Vice Dean for Development and Quality Dr Abdulla bin Ali Al-Qahtani in the first semester of the academic year 1434/1435 e.
